“Metaphorically speaking, let's say in terms of build quality and how it feels, the Pro-Ject is 1080p while the Ortofon is definitely 4K or 8K. It's just in a different precision league.

If you are looking for a 12" arm in the $3000 price range that allows for easy head shell swappability ... the AS-309R would make an excellent choice.
